Library Materials and Services

Library materials - the library’s collection of over 35,000 items include fiction and nonfiction for adults, youth and children. In addition the library has large print books, books on tape and CD, VHS and DVDs, magazines, newspapers, a reference collection and a microfilm collection of local newspapers.

The Friends of the Watseka Public Library was founded in 1999 with the purposes of to stimulate public interest in the library and its activities, to enrich the cultural opportunities of the community, and to supplement library services not provided for by public funds. Ongoing projects are helping with library book sales, shelf reading in the library and programming for all ages.
